[FR]Par le biais d’installations ponctuelles sur des sites vacants de la Ville de Québec, les Satellites proposent une infrastructure élémentaire pour supporter des activités à vocations culturelles ou civiques. Comportant à la fois un élément « *Hardware* » (une installation physique) et une élément
« Software » (une plateforme en ligne), le réseau autogéré de satellites permet de planifier et coordonner des activités citoyennes dans les espaces vacants.

[|]Une exposition présenta la démarche participative et le concept d’installation issu du processus de recherche création. Ce projet est réalisé grâce au soutien de la mesure Première Ovation dans le cadre de l’Entente de développement culturel intervenue entre le gouvernement du Québec et la Ville de Québec.

[EN]Through temporary installations on vacant sites across Ville de Québec,
the Satellites project proposes a basic infrastructure to support cultural
and civic activities. Combining both a hardware component (a physical
installation) and a software component (an online platform), this selfmanaged network of satellites enables the planning and coordination of citizen-led initiatives in vacant spaces.
[|]The exhibition presented the participatory approach and installation concept developed through the research-creation process. The project is supported by the Première Ovation program as part of the cultural
development agreement between the Government of Quebec and the City of Quebec.
