[FR]La vie de nuit, comprise comme espace de spontanéité et d'échanges critiques , a longtemps entretenu un rapport structurant avec la production artistique. Cet projet examine les conditions de cet écosystème dans le contexte québécois contemporain, à l'heure où les arts sont progressivement expulsés du Vieux-Québec.

[|]Le projet retrace le lien entre la scène techno, ses lieux délaissés et l'émergence d'un art engagé, pour poser la question du bâtiment résistant comme symbole de réappropriation culturelle.

[EN]Nightlife, understood as a space of spontaneity and critical exchange, has long maintained a structuring relationship with artistic production. This project examines the conditions of this ecosystem in the contemporary Québec context, at a time when the arts are progressively being expelled from Old Québec.
[|]The project traces the link between the techno scene, its abandoned venues, and the emergence of committed art, in order to raise the question of the resistant building as a symbol of cultural reappropriation.
